We do not collect any personal data. Codex IPO does not track you, profile you, or transmit any information about you or your watchlist to us.
Your watchlist — the companies you add, the notification settings you configure — lives entirely on your device. We never see it, access it, or store it on our servers.
The only sensitive items the app handles are your API keys for Finnhub and, optionally, Anthropic. These are stored exclusively in the iOS Keychain on your device. They are never transmitted to us under any circumstances.
We don't use your information — because we don't have it. Your watchlist data is yours alone, stored locally on your device.
If you contact us for support, any information you share in that exchange is used solely to respond to you and is not retained beyond that purpose.
Finnhub — Codex IPO uses the Finnhub API to retrieve IPO calendar data. API calls are made directly from your device to Finnhub's servers using your own Finnhub API key. We are not party to these requests. Free Finnhub accounts cover US markets; the Asia tier covers Hong Kong and other Asian exchanges; the Premium tier covers European exchanges. Please refer to Finnhub's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle requests.
Anthropic / Claude — If you choose to enable the Claude AI fallback, the app sends search queries directly from your device to Anthropic's API using your own Anthropic API key. This feature is entirely optional and is only invoked when Finnhub does not cover the exchange you are searching. Please refer to Anthropic's Privacy Policy for details.
We do not integrate any advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs of any kind.
Your Finnhub and Anthropic API keys are stored in the iOS Keychain. The Keychain is encrypted, sandboxed to the Codex IPO application, and protected by the security of your device. The keys are never included in any data transmitted to us, never written to iCloud, and never logged.
API calls made with your keys go directly from your device to the respective third-party service (Finnhub or Anthropic). Our infrastructure is not involved in those requests.
Codex IPO can send you notifications in advance of an upcoming IPO date. These notifications are scheduled locally by iOS using the date information already stored on your device. No notification content or scheduling data leaves your device or is sent to us.
You can configure notification timing — from 3 to 30 days before an IPO, at the hour of your choice — in the app's Settings screen. You can disable notifications at any time via iOS Settings.
Since we do not collect or store any personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on our end. Your watchlist and settings live on your device and can be cleared at any time by deleting the app.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you within the app. Continued use of Codex IPO after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
